The Windspot turbine is a small unit from the Spanish renewable energy company Sonkyo Energy. The most important feature of the Windspot turbine is that it is an efficient, durable, reliable, high-performance wind turbine.
The Windspot variable pitch system is robust, effective and requires minimal maintenance. It is also virtually silent, due to the painstaking aerodynamic design of its blades and the fact that it operates at low rpm. This makes it much easier to achieve planning permission.

A Windspot turbine is an alternative to solar P.V. panels...
They do not need a south facing roof (which P.V. panels do). They work at night (P.V. panels do not). They work just as well in winter (P.V. panels do not). Wind turbines produce higher Feed in Tariffs than P.V. panels.
